Canadian Ross 1910 Bayonet, (unmarked) & Scabbard, (US Marked)

Canadian Ross 1910 Mk II Bayonet & Scabbard. Bayonet has been repointed in the field. Ross Rifle patent 1907 but No Canadian markings. One of 118,000 purchased under contract by the British in 1915. However, NO British acceptance marks. Brown leather scabbard is dated 1909 & marked on the reverse frog area, "W6.10 over 79 over CHC over 326". It is also marked on the front side, with a "small flaming bomb & U.S." One of the few supplied for training to the US at the beginning of WWII.
