Description

British No.4 MkII* Bayonet & Scabbard. This pattern superceded the the No.4 MKII by having the spike brazed onto the socket, instead of machining as one forging. Manufactured by the firm of Prince-Smith & Stells of Keighley starting in the summer of 1942 they went on to produce a total of 1,057,515 by the end of the war. Early markings on the socket will be "P.S.K.", "P.S.S." & finally the code of "N56". Complete with scabbard. Some markings are easier to see than others. Just out of years of storage these may require cleaning.
