French Model ANXIII, (1805) Flintlock Cavalry Pistol. Complete with all the correct markings, dated 1812 from the St. Etienne Armoury.
This was the most prolific cavalry pistol during the Napoleonic Wars with approx. 300,000 produced. Many were converted to percussion in later years to extend their service life. Very similar to the French Model 1822 percussion pistol.
