Description

R.C.A.S.C. Blue Patrol Officer's Tunic. Fine quality tunic with brass G V buttons & 2 WWI ribbons above the pocket. Named , ( Lieut J. W. Watmore ) & dated 3 Aug./36 on label in the pocket. Taylor's labet of Burton Bros. Regina. Tunic size is a 38 tall. Does not have any pips or collar insignia, (easily replaced). Copy of Attestation papers are included. Pvt. John Wilson Watmore enlisted with the 195th Overseas Battalion C.E.F. March 28th 1916. Served in France & was at Vimy until the first week of April 1917 when he reported sick & was sent to the rear. Appears he missed the attack on Vimy Ridge by days!

Condition: ORIGINAL, excellent
