WWII German Mid - Late War "Y" - Straps. Web Y straps with grey painted steel fittings. After 1942 there was no longer a need for the web Y straps by the Afrika Korps. These were then issued to suppliment the leather Y straps in use in Europe. Maker marked, "ewx" & dated 1941.
