Description
US P17 Bayonet & Scabbard. Manufactured by WINCHESTER, (less than 400K produced) "W" within a circle under 1917.US ordnance marked. Groved wood grips missing (1) nut. Locking catch intact. # 130 stamped near the mortise slot. Green finished leather scabbard, metal fittings marked G.F. with no frog suspender, used with a P1907 frog. This would have been sent to th UK for Home Guard use. Cross guard is slightly bent forward to fit on whatever ever rifle they were issued with to fit.
