British Heavy Dragoon Flintlock Pistol. This was the standard pistol for all cavalry between 1740-1760 until the introduction of a light dragoon pistol in the 1760's. Used on both sides of the American Revolution and still in service during the Napoleonic Wars. This style is also common among ship board/pirate use with it's long 12" barrel and brass fittings. Numerous inspector marks & "TOWER" "GR" marked lock.
